What's
Different About This Program?
This 10 week
program consist of two components – Life skills and
Job Training. The focus is on developing people
verses training them.
The emphasis for
the "Life-Skills" training program will operate a step ahead of
our Job Training, with specific focus on keeping the job not
just getting placed.

What Can I do
to Enroll?
Who can
particpate?
Persons who are US
citizens, 18 years of age living in the Beaumont, Port Arthur,
Orange and surrounding counties.
How does a
person sign up?
A person applying
for the Golden Triangle Empowerment Center program will be
required to complete an application, sign a GTEC Code of
Conduct, and an interview will be included in the application
process.
Applications are available at GTEC offices and WorkSource Centers.
What is the
class schedule?
Classes are held Monday through Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to
9:30 pm
Will
graduates get jobs?
Yes, immediately upon completion of the program. Successful
graduates will transition to employer payroll and enter the GTEC
tracking system.
